How do I create a journal entry?

Open the app and tap the microphone button to start a voice journal entry, or tap the pen icon to write. Your entry will be saved automatically.

Is my journal data private?

Yes. All journal entries are encrypted in transit and at rest. We never share your personal reflections with third parties. See our privacy policy for full details.

How do I export my data?

Go to Settings > Account > Export Data in the app. You can download all your entries as a file at any time.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store. On iOS, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. On Android, go to Google Play > Subscriptions.

The app isn't syncing my entries. What should I do?

Make sure you have a stable internet connection and are signed in to your account. Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, contact us at support@knowyourethos.com.

How does the AI analysis work?

Our AI reads your journal entries to surface patterns in your mood, values, and personal growth. The analysis happens securely within our system and is never shared externally.
